Our Girls XC team also finished off a historic season by placing 5th as a team, only one spot away from qualifying for the State Meet, at the Region 3-3A Championships on Monday.  The team of Grace Brown, Morgan Harmon, Allison Shaver, Julia Pyeatt, Cecilia Hurtado, Natalie Rawls & Katie Wright not only finished the highest EVER as a team at the Regional Meet in School History, but also had the BEST overall average time (13:54) as team, had the lowest score EVER as a team (174 points), and also brought home the 1st EVER District Championship in school history this season.......AND they will all be returning next year!!!!!  These young ladies were unbelievably spectacular this season and words can not describe how proud of them Coach Acosta, their parents and myself are for what they accomplished this season!!!!
