serving the Pollok/Central community since 1929. Located on US Hwy 69, seven miles north of Lufkin, Texas. Central Junior High serves approximately 400 children from sixth through eighth grade.
The mission of Central Junior High is to equip all students with reading, writing and mathematics skills in order to function as a productive citizen, whether it be in the workforce or post secondary education. In addition to the basic skills, CJH will encourage and develop social skills and technology skills in an effort to guide all students to focus on a possible career path.
That students, parents, teachers and the community share the responsibility of the life long learning of education.
