Applications for the free & reduced meal program will be sent home with your child on the first day of school. A new application is required each year, and only one is necessary per household. Only one application is required per family. Application forms are also available in the principal's office and at the Central ISD Child Nutrition Office at 7622 US HWY 69 N. Instructions for the application are included, but if additional assistance is required you may call 936-583-9389. All applications are processed on a first in- first out basis, and a letter stating your new status will be mailed home within 10 days after application has been processed. You may apply for benefits at any time throughout the school year. The program is based on family size and income levels set by USDA. Students are required to pay full price for all meals until applications are processed and approved. All charging policies apply to students that are applying for free meals until the time of approval.
