The School Health Advisory Council assist Central ISD in ensuring local community values are reflected in the district's health education program. Council members are appointed by the board and are comprised of district parents, students, staff members and members of the community. The SHAC committee annually submits a written report to the board with any recommendations concerning health education as well as the committee's activities for the school year.
